    DDoS Attack Yesterday

    Yesterday, all my blogs in one hosting site cannot be accessible for quite some time, almost the whole day. I sent my host an offline message if there was a problem with the server. It took some 5 hours before I received a reply and said that it encountered distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, which, at first didn’t ring any bell except for the attack word. All I figured (and did not look further) was some malicious event happened and my sites were affected.

    Now that I was bloghopping and reading posts of my blogfriends, I saw Janette’s post:
    10,000 DDoS Attacks Occur Worldwide - Daily

    At least I was normal :D (looking at the positive point, that is) :)

    Good thing my sites are up now. I needed them. They are my net veins and the posts my net blood. ;)
