Pyramid Scheme Hurts When Money Is Involved; The System Is Good For Something Else Websites And Blogs Love
by Cecile Cinco
It has been alive since 1995…at least that was the first time I encountered the pyramiding scheme other than network maketing, which is also a form of pyramiding, whether you agree or not.
From the internet, it soon propagated the tabloids. (The chain letter is also such, by the way, but chain letters were more personal while the more sophisticated pyramiding scheme that found itself under the ads section of tabloids were more the hit-anyone-who-cares kind.)
Many have fallen into its trap, for many years…and many just went poorer, either for just a few dollars (chain letters) and others for the life savings they had (Amway, a classic example).
The system was “evil” because it was plain gambling. You shelled out some capital money in the hope to get back more. It also lacked the control (chain letters) that the chance the person below you will not cheat was rather high.
With a little tweak and redesign, the system is good for something websites and blogs would love: traffic.
Take a look at this traffic opportunity.
Basically, what I did when I signed up was click through 7 forced websites in order for my application to be complete. Those 7 sites were all above me so by me joining, 7 websites just got each traffic from me. And since it’s programmed and directed (forced), you can never be cheated. There’s even a 15-second timer just like the latest trend for PTCs.
Is that good or is that great?
Come on, let’s get some traffic moving!
