Is Blog Better Than A Static Website?

by Cecile Cinco

I used to have a static website about real estate. I sell real estate in my part of the globe to Filipinos who could be anywhere in the world.

It was quite a good one, I should say, because SEO-wise it turns up when search terms such as house and lot in laguna or house and lot in cavite are searched through Google.

Since I have been blogging, I found less time updating my real estate site so I made a big move. I turned it into a blog. It would be a big change and a lot to update since it used to have about 300 pages. Now, at least, I’ve managed to upload the sample pricelists first.

What do you think? Is a blog better for real estate or do you think a static website is still better? It may or may not affect what I will do next but I’m willing to look at all angles. It was made for the benefit of the enduser to be able to get what’s latest, at the same time for me to be able to post what’s new in a manner that will not be stressful, website-creationwise.

I actually have so much in mind for it like pinpointing on GoogleMap or Wikimapia where the projects are located. I wanted it to be the most user-friendly real estate website/blog.

What do you think?
