UK Gets Free Help From The Government In Managing Finances

by Cecile Cinco

There’s never enough money and it’s usually in someone else’s pocket…or so it seems.

People drown in debts until it seems the world is collapsing on you alone.

At least for the UK, its government is doing some move to help its citizens. Free advice will be given to those who seek. If you are one of those interested, you can share your plan, like for example having a mortgage, and they will help you manage your finances. Usually that’s redesigning a scheme that fits your financial capacity.

Mortgage plans are easy on the pocket if taken using the maximum loan term (the number of years you can pay for the loan). It may be long, yes, but you have time to recover since you pay at smaller amounts which is more manageable than a few months but with large chunks of amount per per payment. The important thing is you can afford to pay the monthly amortization so that when you even get in deeper financial trouble, it’s easier to ask some friends and family to help you temporarily. It’s easier to help when the helper can afford.

In the Philippines, actually, I do that. I assess the home buyers depending on their physical needs and financial capacity. I don’t sell them any property that is way above their financial capacity. PAGIBIG, which is the Philippine government’s housing loan provider sees to it that only 40% of the borrower’s income is allowed to be payed for the monthly amortization, considering the other needs like food, clothing, and other every day expenses.
