  • Predict Your Pagerank

    by Cecile Cinco

Some months back PR or pagerank was a wild issue, and it still is. A lot of high PR sites dropped down to zero. To many who did not understand at that time how PR works, there is no recourse but to flare up and blame Google for punishing sites who was hit by the PR bomb. In the first place, those that did not understand how PR is computed are the ones who were affected by the cause-and-effect of the PR formula (that included me then).

Now that I understand PR better, I’m using ways to make it better and avoiding those that will make it drop. The how-to for understanding PR will have its own post.

Whether we like it or not, thought PR is not much important to many, it is important to those who monetize their blogs and to advertisers who are looking for avenues what baskets they will put their eggs in.

The next time Google updates our PRs, what will be the result?

Go to http://www.pagerankpredict.com/ to predict your PR. For this site, it says it’s going to be a 4. :)
