It’s About Time To Look For A Monitor/LCD Screen
by Cecile Cinco
We still use a CRT monitor. Recently we’ve been experiencing that the screen is turning dark that watching movies depicting a dark setting makes it difficult to appreciate what we’re watching. We have to switch off the room light in order to make that night vision a bit clear. Continue reading »

Beware Of Job-Opening Scam
by Cecile Cinco
I discovered another scam. By the look of it, someone in dire need of a job may fall for it, especially those who are not aware that such scams exist.
In one of my posts in one of my blogs, I’ve posted a wanted-secretary information. So, receiving an email asking for possible employees for a grand hotel wasn’t really odd. I replied to ask for requirements. After 2 days (I think) I was emailed a list of all job openings with specific salaries, the hotel pictures (very beautiful) and features, and letter of agreement. How To Make Your Images Clickable
by Cecile Cinco

I received an IM with a message asking for help on how to make images clickable. If I’m not mistaken, it was sent to many, but I’m not sure.
Anyway, I never thought he didn’t know at all since I perceived him to have something to do with web development so HTML would be simple…I assumed.
This mini-tutorial assumes you know basic HTML. You can also make use of it in blogs when you edit using HTML (WordPress) or CODE (for others).
There are basically 2 parts to make this work: your image URL AND your destination URL. Believe me, you don’t need to enroll with the online universities just to be able to accomplish this task.
To make a simple explanation…
If your destination URL is http://myblog.com/destination.html
and your image URL is http://myblog.com/image.jpg
your basic code goes like this:
red = part of syntax
As I said, this is basic…barebones….There are other tags that can make it more complicated but as far as making an image clickable, this is it.
Another tip. If you have a thumbnail and you want the bigger picture your destination, just specify your destination URL appropriately…just like what I did to my thumbnail picture in this post above.

My Paypal Account Has Been Limited!!!
by Cecile Cinco
Or so, the email I received notified me….
It wasn’t the first time. I’ve been receiving such emails telling me that my Paypal account has been limited and that I have to fix it by clicking on a link.
Have you received such?
Don’t click! If you would notice the status bar when you mouse over the link, it’s not from paypal.com but from some site. What will happen is, when you click that link and enter your details, you have given the scammers your login information.
It’s not just Paypal. There are others like banks, commonly.
Many know of this but still a lot do not have an inkling so this post is to warn and help you…and, don’t panic.
