Quality Matters

by Cecile Cinco

Last Sunday, while we were having our Church monthly meeting, the faucet in the kitchen sink lost its thread that gasket or the whole faucet must be replaced. Since it was a Sunday, most stores are closed.

Incidentally, the hall’s water bill shot up 3 times the normal rate. We use the hall about 8-10 times a month only, for Sabbath services during Saturdays and different sorts of meetings during Sundays, but the bill is comparable to using it everyday for a normal household for 3 months. Although the water meter is shut off every time we leave, we cannot be sure that it could have been turned on while we were away.

If we had used a quality faucet in the first place, like any of Delta faucets perhaps, maybe our bill will not shoot up that high.
