Spontaneous Recipe: C5′s Sweet And Spicy Omelette

by Cecile Cinco

At 2:35 pm, I just finished my lunch. I started late so I ended up late as well. I wasn’t that hungry though I did not really eat that much. I’m actually in some sort of diet. I think it’s working. Well, I think. Basically it’s a no-rice diet so it’s a carboless diet. :)

So what did I cook? I scanned what’s in my kitchen. Some lady fingers (that’s green chillis which hotness is mild), red onions, and eggs.

So I sliced the lady fingers diagonally, cut the onions into rings, and beat 3 eggs. Sprinkled a dash of salt to taste and some omami to bring out the flavor.

Heated up the pan, stir-fried the onions and when the rings are half-cooked, put in the sliced lady fingers, stir-fried them more and put in the beaten eggs. Flipped the whole bunch to cook the other side, then plate it. Pour some honey on top. Serve it or eat it. In my case I ate alone. ;) Yummy!

Lady fingers and onion rings.

Cooked and ready to plate.

Ready to eat!
