Back when I was tinkering with electronic stuff to build my own FM stereo from designing to etching to soldering and finally, testing, 70 watts per channel was considered boombastic…and that was in ’85. Baffles would be a meter high and the sound was just great…at least for the current standard then.
About five years ago, my youngest brother (6th among the siblings) bought his very first home theater. The speakers were small but the sound was just oh so theatery!
We do have an Altec Lansing because it is the best we can afford but it would be nice to have one home theater like below.
