TV Stands That Are Functionally Relaxing
by Cecile Cinco
TV has been a part of almost anyone’s household appliances. The CRT types are little by little getting obsolete because of new technology fast developing but especially so that CRTs are not earth-friendly.
With the arrival of LCDs, moving TV racks are discouraged. You need a stable place to put your wide screen on. But a mere table will just take up space. Continue reading »

Laugh For Health
by Cecile Cinco
I’ve always said, “Whoever said ‘laughter is the best medicine’ has never had asthma.”
I do have asthma which just manifested in the 90s when I had no way of doing my usual rigorous activities like hiking, cycling, swimming, and bowling on a fairly regular basis. Instead, I was left to no choice at all traveling to and from work for a total of 5 hours a day. At work, it would be sitting all day in front of the computer. In short, I lacked the exercise I needed to develop my resistance and immune system. Having asthma attacks can be fatal and I’ve had my share of fatal attacks.
I love jokes. Good jokes make me laugh. The problem is, laughing too much triggers asthma. That is, if the immune system is not strong enough. Recently, though, I’ve had less and less asthma attacks so I can read or listen to jokes as much as I’d like to.
*According to Michael Miller, M.D., the director of preventive cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, laughter causes the tissue that forms the inner lining of blood vessels to expand and increase blood flow. Researchers also found that mental stress can cause an unhealthy narrowing of blood vessels – a condition that can lead to or contribute to heart disease. Continue reading »

by Cecile Cinco
From the ages of Atari, xbox 360 is what dominates the gaming world in the homes of every computer game addict today. Just like any other man-made stuff, human nature dictates what he likes or dislikes. More often than not, the will is great to get hold of it and when he’s gotten hold of it, makes use of it to the maximum as if there is no more tomorrow.
Below are some of the good and bad aspects of owning an xbox 360. Let me start with the bad. Note that the list are just some and they just popped in my mind at the moment of writing. Continue reading »

“The Secret” Is Partly Right And Partly Wrong
by Cecile Cinco

“The Secret” is hot. Why not? It teaches you how to get rich! It’s not just getting rich but getting what you want.
The book is for sale but there are some videos and e-books that can tell you somehow the gist of the secret. You can have them yourself by going to the secret treasures. I’ve actually used the wallpaper entitled ‘I Promise Myself’ that’s actually the optimist’s creed by Christian D. Larson. I’m an optimist by nature so I loved it.
The gist is you can attract what you desire (getting rich, getting healthy) by being optimistic, believing it will happen and never allowing any negativity around and in you. I don’t see anything wrong with that. That is right.
What’s wrong then? Continue reading »

The pilot had a heart attack he got blind. He was on air. He called for help and the only solution was to have another plane fly beside him. The blind pilot must believe and trust the guide.
In life, we often go blind. We usually blend in with the world, adapting to its moral decline. Unless we cry for help, we are sure to crash. Continue reading »

Future, Terrorism and Fear | Comment (0)The Internet As Your Travel Partner
by Cecile Cinco
I love to travel. I haven’t traveled that much for lack of means but it has been my childhood dream to do country-hopping with three weeks maximum in each country (not too long, not too short, just enough to see and experience the stay). In fact, I’ve bought a domain that’s meant to be a travel blog but at the moment I parked it while I’m flipping my time to my other blogs. Continue reading »

by Cecile Cinco
Two months ago, I was referred by a friend for therapeutic massage. It’s not mere massage to relax but it makes right what’s wrong with your nerves, muscles and joints. It’s called neuro muscular therapy.
The fingertip massage relaxes hard, overly-contracted muscle tissue allowing the brain to correct itself and reverse disease conditions such as arthritis, bells palsy, backpain, slipped disc, TMJ, migraine, scoliosis, osteoporosis, sinusitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, insomnia, asthma, heart problems and prostate problems.
