Build With Foresight

by Cecile Cinco

You probably know about the difference between building upon the sand and building upon the rock. The latter is stable than the other. The former is not stable at all. That’s the foundation.

Other than the foundation, what you’re building on it should also be thought of with foresight. A nipa hut would be nice if you’re just building a place to rest in from time to time. I like the cozy feel and cool breeze of open air but it sure is not safe against bad people who would like to break in. But who would break into a nipa hut?

Maybe no one but you also have to think of natural calamities. Will your building stand earthquakes and hurricanes? To lose a house to a natural calamity is always not good. How about a living (source of income) like a building that holds your business? Having it wreck will be sorrowful for you and the people who work for you.

You have to think further. Think of steel buildings that can weather even hurricanes.
