Relocating

When we get home from Baguio, we don’t know what to really expect. The worst is that the flood in San Roque is still waist deep on the streets and that inside the house it’s still about a foot deep.

We were informed that water recedes by 2 cm per day if there is no rain. With the frequent rains, I doubt if it really subsided at all….hence, we’re relocating. Good thing my brother has an extra unit in Sta. Rosa. It’s farther from hubby’s work but we have no choice. We’ll stay there until we have enough funds to pay for the normal 3 months’ worth of rent near his work area.

When we go home, we’ll be staying at my mom’s temporarily for a week. During that week I’ll be going home to pack things. By Sunday, hopefully, we can move everything out but stuff has to board thte makeshift rafts until reaching the vehicle we’ll use for moving to Sta. Rosa. The raftable distance is about 200 meters. It’s quite difficult, I know, but it will be another event in my life. Perhaps the coming and going can equal the effects of several diet pills.
