Diet Proportion

As I was waiting for my turn at the Community Hospital last Friday, going for a checkup for my asthma, I read every poster in front of me and even those behind me. I’ve learned several things and one thing particularly caught my attention.

The poster is actually for diabetic patients. Logically, that means they have to cut down on sugar. Obese and overweight people, like diabetics, should cut down on sugar. Not all diabetics are overweight or obese but overweight and obese are prone to having Type II Diabetes.

Back to the chart, I learned that the right diet is having your plate divided into 4 parts where 2 parts of it contain vegetables, 1 part protein, and 1 part carbohydrates. As simple as that. If you’re not used to it, perhaps a diet supplement can help. :)
