Going Healthy

by Cecile Cinco

This morning before hubby left for work I mentioned to him that the medication I’m taking to pacify my asthma has something negative. I don’t have attacks, right, since that’s what’s it supposed to do. The problem, though, is I don’t get myself to exercise. The effect is getting me weaker.

A little later I got a text message from hubby. He said what I said scared him and that I should start walking…and that’s an order! :o (He’s scared that I die first before he does!)

After eating a banana and some oatmeal, I went out and started brisk walking. I spent 55 minutes. On the way home I thought I should have counted the electric posts to measure how long I walked since each post is 50 meters from each other…but then it looks like it is no longer the standard. Good thing wikimapia can give me the answer and I learned that I brisk walked a total of 4.5km. Not bad for a start! :)

I may be having allergy relief but I also need the exercise to get my natural immune system stronger.
