Patience is virtue. Perhaps you’ve heard that a million times. With so many instant this and instant that, I guess it is evident that we lose patience more often than we ought to.
Last week I was talking with a friend over lunch. He mentioned that he grew up with his grandfather and it was a household rule that eating a meal should be very slow and long…and they took about 2 to 3 hours! Talking was encouraged. Remember the nursery rhyme, “chew, chew, chew your food, gently through your meal…the more you chew, the less you eat, the better you will feel?” I guess nobody does that these days anymore! Everyone’s in a hurry!
The faster we eat, the faster we gain pounds. When we gain those pounds, we are now in a hurry to shed them off! If you’re not ready for phentermine 37.5, I guess it’s best to go slowly and practice patience.

I wanted to practice slow eating too, but I’ve been used to eating fast, so no dice
@Surreal, I think it takes conscious effort to change.
