I consider myself stressless amidst stressful situations that most others will normally burst into anger, rage, depression, and whatever emotion that results due to the stressful situation. Without that stressful situation, emotions would normally be connected to peace, serenity, tranquility.
In my case, though, the people around me get stressed because of my stresslessness! Now I can’t say that’s good, can I?
What does it take to be stressless? For me:
1. Trust in God that He is in control, knows what’s best for me, and does what’s best for me, whether I may consider it good or bad myself.
2. Knowing that God will never give me trials I cannot overcome.
3. Take one day at a time. The troubles for the day are enough.
4. Look at the negatives as mere support so the positive will shine brighter.
5. Always look for the bright side, focus on the positive.
6. When defeated, accept defeat with a smile and learn the lessons.
7. Prioritize.
8. Give the benefit of the doubt.
9. Be wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.
10. Ask God for help always.

Hi Cecile, I saw your link over at BloggerLuv.
I guess you could say You’re Too Blessed to be Stressed.
You have a wonderful outlook on life. Even your Blog tagline symbolizes your stress-free attitude.
Cool!
Cheers,
Mitch
Hi Mitch! Thanks for coming over!
Yes, I consider everything a blessing.
That is a blessing to be able to handle stressful situations with ease. I’m pretty good at it with only a few exceptions I can think of. Being a laid-back personality helps.
I like all yours…#4 got me through a lot of ugliness. The power of laughter is a wonderful thing.
Hello Melinda! I agree, laughter is great but having had asthma, too much laughter for me gives me attacks especially when I’m not under maintenance. I love to laugh…I just have to tame it.
Thanks for coming by!
When I was a regular working stiff, I almost never felt stress. I didn’t start feeling stress until 1999, when workplace pressures over things that I had no control over finally started getting in the way. I went into business for myself in 2001, and I’d have to say that 6 out of the 9 years I’ve been in business have been very stressful.
But I deal with it, and I work on helping others stay relaxed. I don’t believe in religion or extraspecial entities, so I can’t and won’t rely on anything like that. I just deal with it and continue working to overcome whatever I need to overcome to be relaxed once more.
Or as relaxed as I can be, because my wife tells me I don’t know how to relax. lol
I have always admired people who have the ability to stay cool no matter what. My father is one of those people as well. I read about how you do it, but when I try to put it into practice it just doesn’t work for me.
@Mitch, at least you’re dealing with it.
@Kathy, thanks. It takes some time especially if you’re not used to it. I think I grew up controlling stress.
