I have three girls. I have thought of giving them something they can keep for life like a bracelet or a necklace. It has been delayed for lack of budget.
One time when we were in Baguio, I saw heart pendants hung through black strings for necklace. I bought 3 of them. Black for my eldest, cyan for my 2nd and pink for my youngest. They’re only cheap pendants and they’re also cheaply made.
One day I’d like to buy them disney jewelry. I’m sure they’ll love it. 
When that will be, it doesn’t matter…even if they grow up to be ladies already.
