After several days of my blog being down because of the thought that someone hacked it, it’s back alive! It was not easy being without internet at home right now so I’m less online than usual. I have deadlines to meet, though, so I still have to be online.
The problem was, I could not login to my blog. When I use the lost password feature, it says my email is not recognized, when it used to be. Logging into my cpanel I was able to download my database, deleted what was online and upload what I downloaded just to be able to reinstall WordPress, thus, will ask for my email address. It was only good one time only. Same problem again and what’s trying my patience is the inability to upload the database. Rather, it uploads and I get a message that it was successful but when I check it out, it does not exist.
Later, I realized I had to make a raw database first with the same name as what I would upload, then overwrite the empty one. I also changed the email address that I wasn’t using for a long time, from the PHP Admin. Now it’s ok.
