This blog domain had been existing for more than 11 years now. I was compelled to buy my own after having earned some from the blogging world much earlier. I had so much in my mind that I busy writing. After all, I was a better writer than a speaker. I often used to say, “my pen/keyboard is mightier than my tongue.”
About 5 years later I had some blogger friends say that they are in blogging hiatus. I just thought then, how could that be? It wasn’t until much much later that I understood the feeling.
I have plans for this blog. During my hiatus, I’ve been busy with my craft. Creating something with my hands excite me. So much still develop in my mind that I have multiple WIPs at the same time. So instead of just writing my thoughts like I used to do early in my blogging life, I thought it would be better to share my craft journey and have a store on the side.
I’ve thought the same thought a couple of years ago. What happened? Again, my mind, wanting to do so much, failed to follow through.
I am usually the spur-of-the-moment kind of person. The times I plan, they have something to do with my Church-related activities. I guess I will have to make an exception for blogging if I want it to give it a steady moving flow. The plan should be written, with time, and realistic result.
Blog at least once a week.
It may be too short a statement but it is written for public consumption. I should have the integrity enough to stick to my word. Disclaimer: any valid emergency can free me from it.
Ironically, this post has been spontaneously written.
I just did it!
See you next week! 🙂
