I wanted my hair cut short. The type I do not have to maintain…but I just can’t because I might look more handsome than my husband. The reason I wanted it short with less maintenance is because my hair is not that nice. When it’s long it’s not manageable at all. The shampoos and conditioners cannot tame my hair as they promise. To have it rebonded or merely relaxed will cost so much that will take 4 days of food budget!

There’s something I’d like to try, though. I saw this argan oil for hair and it looks promising. I just have to pull my resources to tick a budget for it.

I searched the net further and found that it’s basically good for inflammation and skin problems. It heals wounds faster. It also fights the bacteria that causes diarrhea. It also strengthens the bones, is a liver detoxifier, prevents breast cancer, and helps weight loss. So before trying over the counter diet pills that actually work, I will add this to my health regimen.

Instead of coffee, I make turmeric tea with muscovado (since I don’t have honey).

There are a lot more in the list. Try to google it, you’ll find them eye-opening.

When I was in 2nd year high school, I had a teacher who had a fair and smooth complexion. She was strict when it comes to school-related activities, lessons, tests and everything but she was accommodating during our getting-to-know-you informal session. It wasn’t really part of the schedule, it just happens when we finish our lessons early.

One time one of my classmates finally asked what our teacher’s secret was to have that fair and smooth complexion. It was flawless! The reply surprised us. She said she only uses ordinary soap and water. I wonder how she is now, after 31 years? She probably has access to the internet as well, if she’s still alive, and would be amazed at the many acne treatment reviews. Could she still be flawless?

They don’t even need prosthetics at all! They can be very well in their real halloween costumes! They’ve been doing their job for 3 decades (at least for the old lady)! I forgot how long the old man had been playing his roles.

They are real people and in real day-to-day life, people who do not know them get scared easily but people who love them like family and neighbors, say they are really good and loving people! This is what I see as examples of making use of what they have. To them, anti wrinkle treatments will put their jobs to jeopardy. They love their skin just as they are!

Of course, if you’re not in for a horror job, it’s a different story.

For several days I have slept beyond bedtime. I feel like a zombie. Having been used to sleeping as early as 8 or 9pm, going beyond 11pm or even midnight for several days hurts now since I still get up at 5am. When I was sleeping early, I sometimes wake up at 3am for bathroom call, then I’d go back to sleep till 5am.

Today will be a busy day. Busier than the previous days. I have to pack for a 10-day trip to the Feast of Tabernacles which is an annual event for the whole family, physical and spiritual. My kids have packed days ago. I always do either the night before leaving or on the day itself since we’re leaving at night, like today.

We’re traveling during the night so everybody’s asleep. By the time we wake up, we’ve arrived. Less eating, so no throwing up for the kids. Even when traveling during the day, I keep them from eating and drinking too much to also lessen the bathroom call. I myself eat/drink the least possible. Total travel time would be about 7 hours.

Since I’ve seen the sights for almost the whole of my life, sleeping during travel would really be nice. Hopefully this zombie feeling will be gotten over with. I doubt, though, because our destination is so exciting we’d want to get the most out of the day and night!

See, the Feast of Tabernacles is one of God’s feasts in Leviticus 23, which was kept by the apostles of the New Testament and Jesus Christ Himself. It pictures the day when Christ’s return (celebrated by the Feast of Trumpets) will usher in His millennial reign (pictured by the Feast of Tabernacles) after Satan has been cast out (pictured by the Day of Atonement). Those who were left after the “end of the world” will be in that millennial world, ruled by those who made it, spiritually, unto the end. After that millennial utopia, all those who died without knowing Christ will be resurrected and will have the opportunity to learn of God’s way (pictured by that Last Great Day, the 8th day). Those who reject God, still, will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and his/her memory will no longer be remembered. These Feasts are celebrated by a few (compared to the global population) all over the world.

This travel is the highlight of our every year! We will be seeing brethren from different areas. That’s what makes this travel also so exciting. That’s what would make me sleep late again, not to mention my assignments like hall setup (as soon as we arrive the 3 of us — mainly hubby and eldest — will set up the stage with backdrop that my eldest made for the first time), practicing for the Festival Show (4 of us are dancing), co-hosting the Family Day (an afternoon of games), and co-hosting the Children’s Party during the Youth Day (fun for the kids ages 5-12), and almost daily practice for the choir and rondalla! The zombie feeling continues! It’s all worth it, though. I guess I’ll be needing under eye cream for dark circles to counter my almost zombie look!

I’d like to blog about display mannequins, though. Have you noticed the mannequins in the department stores? Even those at the display windows of apparel shops…

I don’t know in your area but here, very commonly, 99% the mannequins are slim! Then I would see bigger-sized women or men admiring them. Well, there’s nothing wrong with that at all….but these mannequins drive at the vanity senses of the market, feeding them that they look good in those set of clothing, whatever it was they display!

Who are the victims? Those who decide with their hearts. It would be all right if the buyers are as slim as the mannequins but most often they are 2 or even 4 sizes larger! They fail to realize that those styles worn by slim mannequins fit slim humans as well!

The problem is, often, these stores don’t display mannequins having large builds and showcase styles that fit them! They are the ones who got money in their pocket! How else can they afford to grow big to even the point of obesity? Why forget them?

Desiring to be slim, though, is another point. If you’re not slim and you want to get into those outfit for slim figures, either you work out the natural way, eat what’s right, or go for diet pills that really work. Again, always check them out with friends, find people who did use them or are using them.

Female and male bodies are different. They work differently and for different purposes. For instance, women do not develop muscles like men. Muscles may develop but not as big as what men can accomplish.

Why women would like to develop such muscles is beyond me. They have their reasons. For me, I think, all reasons lean on the musculine side. Why not? Women, naturally, would want to be sexy and soft. Men’s sexiness is different–hard and muscled.

Men or women who’d like to be men: what do you do to make your body masculine? If you’re chubby or obese, what steps are you going to take, are taking, have taken?

Have you tried looking at the noxycut reviews? Noxycut is meant for men as it replaces every pound of fat loss into muscles. Whoa! Does it mean if you’re an obese your muscles will be as big too?
