Blue is a universal color. Its cool, calming effect gives peace and makes you sleep and makes time pass by so swiftly. If you’re insomniac, try changing the color of your bedroom to sky blue. Too much of blue, though, dampens the spirits.

It conveys importance and confidence without being sinister or somber (the reason for corporate choice of color and police officers’ uniforms) and the darker blue is associated with intelligence, unity, stability and conservatism.
