I had a beautiful doll when I was in 3rd grade, I think. It was given to me by my grandmother who lived in the US. Wanting to show it off to my classmates, i brought it to school. It’s a public school and most who are studying there are those who cannot afford going to private schools. I was kind enough to lend the pretty doll to my classmates but in the end no one wants to say who took it. It was one of my saddest days. Since then, I never bragged about any new toy.

It is a lot easier to gift women than men. Women love almost anything, even the smallest things while men are so choosy. There are more things they do not like than things they do. It’s that time of the year again that people, especially corporate, are busy preparing for their year-end or Christmas gifts. I have 3 girls ages 10, almost 13 and almost 16. I’ve been thinking of buying something for them that will last their lifetime. I also want it personal so they keep it as long as they live.
