It used to be that the cause of getting big is eating in fastfoods most of the time and staying in front of the tv watching even all those advertisements. The sedentary lifestyle has moved to a new level. No longer is the tv the culprit because less people are watching it these days. It is the existence of the internet and social media with lots of games, if not for online income opportunities, that makes the life of this new age exist with more people who have low and lower metabolism rate. Perhaps in that aspect, although not limited to such, that the internet can be blamed.

Actually, it is not the internet’s fault because it does not have a mind of its own. Just like any medium, it can be good or bad depending on how it is handled by the person using it. Even if you learn through the internet the side effects of ignite maxx but if you will do nothing about it, where will it lead you?

I know what I should do. I got to get myself moving! I got to get my butt off the stool and go out walk a mile or two or even five! I got to do some squat and leg exercises so I won’t lose them! I need to exercise badly and I need it sooner than later! Not just to get my metabolism burning but to get myself into better health.

Denial, especially when true, will only delay the positive progress. It only gives temporary satisfaction of but will ultimately catch up on you. If you have done something wrong and deny it, you may escape the immediate consequences but the long term result will be worse and will not only affect you physically but also psychologically. An alcohol or drug abused person usually stays under the denial stage for long. Until he or she realizes it, treatment will be difficult. It is best that help is sought. San Diego drug alcohol rehab treatment center can help if you’re looking for one around the area.

It is a stressful world. Many die of certain illnesses but if you track back the person’s state during personal trials, it is very possible that stress pushed those people to the edge. With so much stress, depressed people also grow by the thousands. These people are usually those who cannot cope with stress. They are usually the emotional types and more likely the pessimists too.

Herbal City LLC may have found the natural solution to limit the dangers of stress and depression by offering spiritual powders which are made from natural herbs. All their products are 100% legal everywhere.

If you want to take a break with friends, you might want to try the party enhancers or the k6 herbal incense. Doing so, though, means that you are responsible for your action and in no way the writer of this post will be responsible should you find yourself too ecstatic, problem-free, or otherwise. This writer merely lets you know what is available.

The internet has made so much technological leap to our advancement especially in learning and trade. It has also been a big contributing factor why we are getting sick. The mere sitting all day and focusing on the monitor (call yourself a workaholic or a gameaholic) is cutting short your life. Frequent standing up every 15 minutes should do the trick to minimize the defect healthwise. Blinking every so often will also minimize the strain on your eyes.

The key is exercise. (I’m actually telling this to MYSELF!) Yes, I need it. You need it too. Otherwise we might end up having a patient monitor stuck to us.

Health is wealth. We all (almost) know that it costs to be unhealthy. After all the bad habits that we do, when we get in our 40s and beyond, different sorts of doctors are bound to give us a checkup. If we have been real bad, they could be checking with us for the rest of our lives.

Ensuring a healthy lifestyle, on the other hand will usually cost on the food we eat (healthy foods are basically more expensive than processed, unhealthy foods) but the rest like proper exercise, good/enough sleep will take on our time. The end result will be a better life during old age and less needle pricks, if not at all.

Health is wealth. It is just a matter of where you spend your money: on good food, or medical bills. Unless you can get a no exam life insurance, you are of all sick, most miserable.

For the past few weeks but to less than two months I noticed I got myself into eating rice again. I just did not care for awhile whether I gain weight or not. Since I am into swimming twice a week for my asthma, I guess that’s the reason why I’m not gaining as much as I should. Nevertheless I’m going overweight again and that is bad.

by Cecile Cinco

Over last weekend, several of my friends noticed my white spots on my neck, mostly under my chin and some on my forehead. One of them said I should give it attention otherwise I might turn into one of the 101 dalmatians.

When I was a teenager this has happened too. I tried to treat it with a topical solution for an-an (don’t know the English term for it) but to no avail. It’s not an-an. Besides, an-an creates a map on the skin. What I have are small round spots that differ in sizes from a diameter of 1 to 2mm.

When I lived on my own when I started work, it seemed to have vanished. When I moved from Olongapo to Quezon City in 1990, I experienced asthma the first time. My skin also got back its white spots. The doctor said it could be the manifestation of my asthma.

There is no cure for asthma. One has to strengthen the immune system so asthma will not be triggered. One also has to know his/her allergens by observing the food intake and the environment and how the body reacts. It turns out I have lots of allergens.

From my list of allergens, I observed that whenever my chicken-eating frequency has upped to at least once a week, I get these spots. During those times I had no white spots, my chicken-eating frequency got down to once a year.

Actually, the white spots are not the only skin manifestation that my asthma is at its worst condition. On my chest are red spots that are beveled and will only be invisible if the attack is less.

Since we moved to this place last year, chicken has been on the table for about 3x a week. Without much exercise to strengthen my immune system, my asthma is worse. That is why I have decided to stop eating chicken and eggs.

I’m just thankful that it’s not adult acne that I have.

by Cecile Cinco

My no-rice diet has lost me 18 pounds since the time I started in July last year until now. Two days ago I finally decided to buy red rice instead of the usual, cheaper white rice. It’s more than twice the cost but it’s more filling because it’s more nutritious. You don’t have to cook as much as the white rice and because it’s so expensive, you tend to take every grain seriously out of waste’s way. So now I can eat rice because it’s weight-friendly.

The next step would be buying an earthen pot to cook the red rice in. Our casseroles are not thick enough for the longer cooking time of the red rice. Besides, earthen pots are also better than tin or steel.

Getting a healthy diet is one way to live longer happily. It would be nice to have health plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield but it’s always better to start with a healthy lifestyle because you are what you eat.

I have 3 kids. My eldest is almost 17, the next is 14 (yesterday), and the youngest is 11. They are all girls. In my three experiences, I’ve never been to a prenatal checkup earlier than the 8th month. I just went on, trying to eat what’s healthy and when I thought it’s just about time before delivering, that I went to a midwife who has her clinic in a nearby subdivision. I have delivered twice in that clinic and the last one was in a hospital due to my asthma. Still, that hospital just saw me once during that delivery.

I survived but is it good practice? I guess not. Although the kids are fine, they could have been better if they were benefited with prenatal one multivitamin. No, I’m not going to add one more just to test that. We are already five in the family. That’s just Cinco enough.

For almost a week now I’ve been including turmeric into my diet. Either I sprinkle almost a spoonful on my food, mix it with the viand I cook (so the kids can have it without knowing somehow), or mix it with hot milk with cinnamon, and plain turmeric tea.

I’ve learned that turmeric is very good for the skin, potent as anti-inflammatory and good against cancer, among other benefits. I’ve read comments that cysts and acne have vanished. I’m hoping it will do good to my allergies.
