Which Is Better?

May 26th, 2010

Humanity has been very busy looking for the fountain of youth. We don’t want to get old, and most of all, we don’t want to die…but we’re all going to die! It’s sure to happen.

Some may be wanting it sooner than later, like those who have serious health conditions and those who are depressed. If you’re in your right mind and with high spirits, you would want to live more. :) Continue reading »

“An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” That’s how the line goes.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry. It’s always better to be prepared although it takes really skill to be able to find solutions at the spur of the moment. Continue reading »

The financial bubble almost crippled the global economy. Most countries, if not all, have suffered, one way or the other. Spending has been limited. Insurance companies were no longer trusted as the growing number of them can no longer pay their clients the benefits due them. The more the industry sank.

How long will this go on? Certain companies were named to have lacked the capacity to go on. Since then, those who were in good standing remained…but it takes the trust of the people to move forward. Continue reading »

How Much Life Insurance Is Enough?

    February 21st, 2010

    by Cecile Cinco

Usually, a person buys life insurance so his or her beneficiaries will not have to lose the incoming financial support that person brings in as a bread winner in the event that the insured dies. It’s love. But how much is enough? Continue reading »

How do you save? Do you spend first then save what’s left or save first then spend what’s left?

Generally, the poor stays poor because of the first habit and those who walked their way to wealth built their riches on the latter habit. When I say poor, I mean those who just live with the basic needs and not the underprivileged who cannot afford to eat thrice a day. Continue reading »

Is insurance good or bad? It depends on how you look at it. Generally, insurance is good. You get financial return for the loss of whatever it is you’re insuring which is a lot larger than what you paid for. Comparing it with a bank time deposit, it is still a lot larger.

When does it become bad? Continue reading »

As the days go by and we age by the year, our health goes down the drain if we do not take care of it. With so much cares to keep our mind focused on, we tend to neglect what makes us enjoy life better: good health. We get lazy to exercise, justifying that we have more important things to do. We just can’t buy the healthy foods offered at the grocery or market because the prices are way too high. Continue reading »

    Support For Disabled

    October 30th, 2009

    by Cecile Cinco

It is but normal that when you reach above middle age, you are prone to disabilities. Most insurances cover for total disability only but how about partial disability when you still lack the capacity to work well, which lessens your income or even strips you off of your regular income?

That’s the good thing about social security disability program which gives you your income while even partially disabled until you get well, or if not, until you retire then you shift to social security retirement income.

    Cool. :)

    The Backbone Of Every Salesperson

    September 16th, 2009

    by Cecile Cinco

Being in sales is not my cup of tea. Whatever I have sold, I’m sure my God gave it to me. I don’t have the capacity or guts to actually go out and knock from house to house just to go about my sales presentation. In fact, the reason I’ve set up my own real estate website is because I wait for people to come to me since I have the information they need. I’m not selling anyone anything. I’m helping them own their house to call their home. Continue reading »

You may have guessed it right. Where can you find cheap life insurance? Of course, the internet! With the recent financial bubble and the insurance giants falling on their knees, and yet with the knowledge that it is better to have a life insurance than not have one at all, if we really care for the family we will leave behind, Continue reading »

If You Think You Can’t, Then Don’t…Unless…

I’ve used to tell my family that I don’t want to buy a car. For several reasons, actually. Like, maintenance is high, driver (which could be my hubby or myself) can’t rest, and the worst is if somebody out of his mind just make a scratch on the paint! Continue reading »

What’s The Basic Difference Between Life And Non-Life Insurance?

    February 20th, 2009

    by Cecile Cinco

You’ve heard of life insurance and non-life insurance, I’m pretty sure. What’s the difference?

More than a decade ago I was selling life insurance then years later I was with a pre-need company. (Being with the insurance firm at that time I made my ICQ handle Life Provider. I had a 7-digit UIN which still exists now, though not much used as it had been before. If you use ICQ and do a search, if you see 2 accounts with Life Provider, both are mine.) Continue reading »

Many do not believe in life insurance. The primary reason is, if it’s your time, then it’s your time.

Although life insurance cannot bring back the life of the person, there is one thing that makes the problem lighter and easy to bear. Continue reading »

I’ve found at least four people quoting that a wrong decision is better than indecision or having the habit of indecision. All four share the same sentiment.

The risk of a wrong decision is preferable to the terror of indecision. (Maimonides)

Indecision is debilitating; it feeds upon itself; it is, one might almost say, habit-forming. Not only that, but it is contagious; it transmits itself to others. (H. A. Hopf) Continue reading »
