The Internet Is Great For Shopping

In 1994, when I first got connected using 2.4Kbps modem, I learned to get the information I needed using Webcrawler (Google did not exist then) and since my modem is toooo slow, I learned to use Lynx, the textbased surfer. I even used email to surf then, getting images, freewares and sharewares. Continue reading »

Someone in my address book sent me an email and according to her she needs help.  I haven’t really heard from her for a long time and when I did, she’s asking for help. At first glance, though, I knew her email address was hacked…and that someone can get scammed. How about the others in her address book who were sent the same email? Below is the screen shot of the email: Continue reading »

I’m a Globe user. My SIM existed for more than 5 years now (I think…can’t really remember…when Smart started to charge for balance inquiry, that’s when I shifted to Globe. When was that? Anyone can remember? Since then, it’s the same number.) Continue reading »

What’s common from among Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini aside from being Italian names? They are all manufacturers of sports cars! Since there are not many sports cars as there are travel and everyday cars, they are very special. Very special indeed that if you own one, every eye could be looking at your car instead of you! When I Lost My Internet At Home…

    February 14th, 2009

    by Cecile Cinco

As someone who has been online for quite some time (more than a decade), getting disconnected is something that is not really that easy.

I love the internet. It jives well with my introvert nature. Writing better than speaking, I sure can manage well typing than talking to someone I haven’t really met face to face. Continue reading »

The Internet As Your Travel Partner

    November 15th, 2008

    by Cecile Cinco

I love to travel. I haven’t traveled that much for lack of means but it has been my childhood dream to do country-hopping with three weeks maximum in each country (not too long, not too short, just enough to see and experience the stay). In fact, I’ve bought a domain that’s meant to be a travel blog but at the moment I parked it while I’m flipping my time to my other blogs. Continue reading »

When I started blogging, I started with a free blog. Why not? I was just testing the waters. But then I got hooked and have written hundreds of posts when I realized I should have gotten my own domain. Why? Because there are certain limitations with a free site. I wished I started my footing right and not miss on a lot of opportunities.

It started when I was curious about ‘Craiglist Exposed’ but found out that the ebook is for sale from $1.99 to $79. I searched and searched, looking for the same but free. If I can get it for free, why not? These could be the way I can get disney world tickets!

As I searched, I not only found the particular ebook I was looking for but several others, in fact, a lot others, that are useful to help me make money online and develop my online skills.

The list below is what I found, all for free if I join for free, and I even get a $10 sign-up bonus.

All I have to do is visit the ads sent to me and I earn points. The number of ads depend on the categories you ticked. A maximum of 10 ads per day will be sent to you so if you visit them all, you get 10 points. It’s basically an advertising pool and you get a share depending on your effort.

You can get paid by cheque or by PayPal when you reach payout level which is $50 for PayPal and $55 for cheque.

The downloadables are already a great resource for me, which is what triggered me to sign up. I think it would benefit you too so you might as well want to take the opportunity while it’s available.

  • My Paypal Account Has Been Limited!!!

Or so, the email I received notified me….

It wasn’t the first time. I’ve been receiving such emails telling me that my Paypal account has been limited and that I have to fix it by clicking on a link.

    Have you received such?

Don’t click! If you would notice the status bar when you mouse over the link, it’s not from paypal.com but from some site. What will happen is, when you click that link and enter your details, you have given the scammers your login information.

It’s not just Paypal. There are others like banks, commonly.

Many know of this but still a lot do not have an inkling so this post is to warn and help you…and, don’t panic.
