Love is a broad subject and different people understand love differently. No matter how it’s understood, how to express it is also different from one to another. Having different social and financial status makes the expression different though all would mean their own way in expressing their love.

Let’s limit our topic to love between a man and a woman. That, still, is a broad topic. Ok, let’s limit it to the man’s expression of love to the woman he loves. What are the ways of a man to express his love?

- write a poem
- give roses and chocolates
- call her up
- pick her up to and from work
- do grocery
- help in the yard
- write loveletters
- listen
- be funny
- treat her to lunch/dinner/snacks
- watch movies
- etc…etc…

For those who can afford, others would opt for diamond engagement rings. Well, it’s not a guarantee but diamond is known to be a woman’s best friend.

These may be examples of how a man may express his love to a woman but it is also important that the woman understands the man’s love language. Actually, the man must also know, find out, and understand what the love language of the woman is. It would be useless to buy everything when the love language of the woman is to hear you write poetry or tell jokes. Get what I mean?
