Making Your Perfect Bed
by Cecile Cinco
In the Philippines, we have a saying, “Kung maiksi ang kumot, matutong mamaluktot.” Translation: “If the blanket is short, learn to bend.”
As human beings, with human nature, it is but natural to be dissatisfied, discontent, and wanting. Being in those common attitudes easily get us down, adding stress and wrinkles as we age, faster than those who have contentment in life and adaptable spirit in going about the daily grind.
So what if you lost your bed? The floor is big enough where your bed used to stand! The bums on the streets find the roads as everlasting beds!
In this degrading times, it is not unusual that our standard of living will drop down. Going down means you’ve had your opportunity to be up! And when you’re down, there’s nowhere to go but up! Continue reading »

I consider myself stressless amidst stressful situations that most others will normally burst into anger, rage, depression, and whatever emotion that results due to the stressful situation. Without that stressful situation, emotions would normally be connected to peace, serenity, tranquility.
In my case, though, the people around me get stressed because of my stresslessness! Now I can’t say that’s good, can I?

I guess almost everyone has heard that time is gold. Time wasted is gone forever. What we opt to use the time for depends on us. Life confronts us always with a choice to make. Our clocks and watches goes forward. If it doesn’t, it merely stops and it never goes backward to gain lost time. Going back via a time machine is mere imagination and silverscreen. by Cecile Cinco
Next to one’s biological parents, teachers are considered the people who are the second mother or father of a child. Because of that general notion, most parents leave their responsibility of discipline to their kids’ teachers, whether realized or not. Teachers are complaining not because of the low academic reception of many students but because of the moral decline of these students which usually lead them to academic decline as well. Intelligent Decision Springs Out Of In-depth Comparison
by Cecile Cinco
I’ve found at least four people quoting that a wrong decision is better than indecision or having the habit of indecision. All four share the same sentiment.
The risk of a wrong decision is preferable to the terror of indecision. (Maimonides)
Indecision is debilitating; it feeds upon itself; it is, one might almost say, habit-forming. Not only that, but it is contagious; it transmits itself to others. (H. A. Hopf) Continue reading »

Getting old is no reason for not improving one’s self. In fact, the more we get old, the more we should put some effort in improving ourselves. Self Development, Trainings | Comments (2)“The Secret” Is Partly Right And Partly Wrong
by Cecile Cinco

“The Secret” is hot. Why not? It teaches you how to get rich! It’s not just getting rich but getting what you want.
The book is for sale but there are some videos and e-books that can tell you somehow the gist of the secret. You can have them yourself by going to the secret treasures. I’ve actually used the wallpaper entitled ‘I Promise Myself’ that’s actually the optimist’s creed by Christian D. Larson. I’m an optimist by nature so I loved it.
The gist is you can attract what you desire (getting rich, getting healthy) by being optimistic, believing it will happen and never allowing any negativity around and in you. I don’t see anything wrong with that. That is right.
What’s wrong then? Continue reading »

The pilot had a heart attack he got blind. He was on air. He called for help and the only solution was to have another plane fly beside him. The blind pilot must believe and trust the guide.
