Realistic Electric Fireplace

July 29th, 2010

by Cecile Cinco

I’ve experienced a real fireplace when I was very young. I knew it was enjoyable to watch and a fun way to spend the night in cold weather. I like bonfire better, though, but that’s outdoors. Now, since Baguio is not as cold anymore, I didn’t get the chance to experience such joy again. Continue reading »

Do you have that special someone that you call and/or text more than you do anyone else? That special someone may be your better half, your girl or boy friend, your daughter or son, your mom or dad, your best friend, or simply your phone or text pal.

How much do you spend? Do you think it is more expensive than P175 a month? How about P150 a month? If you answer yes, then you have to read on! Especially at this time of saving (even forced due to the economy), we should always be aware and on the lookout for ways to stretch that Philippine Peso a little bit longer. Continue reading »

Always Fill The Room Of Improvement

July 23rd, 2010

We all lack something. Someone is always better and we are also better than someone else. For the handicapped, though, they may think otherwise. They may feel very remorse out of self pity. Not for those who have found the solution to their loss. Continue reading »

Imagine yourself to be constantly traveling from one place to another, rarely in your house, what will be your bare essentials? This morning before hubby left for work I mentioned to him that the medication I’m taking to pacify my asthma has something negative. I don’t have attacks, right, since that’s what’s it supposed to do. The problem, though, is I don’t get myself to exercise. The effect is getting me weaker. Continue reading »

“An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” That’s how the line goes.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry. It’s always better to be prepared although it takes really skill to be able to find solutions at the spur of the moment. Continue reading »

The habit of saving should be instilled in a person’s mind as young as possible. Creating that habit will help the person as he/she grows up. It will instill the value of money and can also help in times of financial difficulty.

This morning, my two daughters, ages 10 and 13 were making themselves their own savings “can” out of a recyclable tumbler which they covered with a folder board. Yes, they are easy to get if you don’t have the character to stop yourself… Continue reading »
