Space is very precious. In Japan, since their land is very small, they have become very good in using space to the maximum, building vertically since they are limited horizontally.

We just actually had our general cleaning today. We have thrown out everything we haven’t used for more than 2 years and will not use for the next 2 more years. Well, except for the craft materials that I have bought. It’s a small space that we have so it is very precious for us too. Almost everything is actually modular. Since my girls are growing up, later, they will have to have a place to put everything that has to do with vanity like makeup and everything else. For sure, modular vanity space will be called for later.

I have set up Quick Note particularly to enlist all my blog domains so I can be reminded of them. I tend to forget most of them because they are not listed. Good thing I have them saved in my email so all I had to do was search for them and enlist them one by one. Since the lists I create are in sync with Diigo, I can get the notes even when I am in another computer.

That how I was able to organize my ScribeFire list of blogs.

Do you find yourself having to take some loan from friends, family, credit card or even from loan sharks? You do because you find that your income is always not enough for your everyday expenses.

Logically, to be debt-free means to spend within your limits. If it is not enough, have you tried to assess what you are spending for and separate the NEEDS from WANTS? Start spending for the needs only and when you have some spare, then prioritize from your list of wants. If you are single this will be easy to be decided on but if you have a family it is best to discuss it with the whole family so that everyone understands what is going on.

People have the capacity to survive. Oftentimes it is the willingness to do or not to do the debt advice that is blocking one’s success to be debt free.

Lessened are days when you have to go through a Sunday paper’s classified ads section, encircle all possible jobs you can apply for, produce a printed resume in a nice folder for each, groom yourself to wear your best, practice your speaking, go to each of the possible job prospects by commuting, get stressed, get exam, get interviewed, go home or to the next prospect. You wait for a call from whoever accepted you. If you are really good, more than one company will call on you then you will have to choose. Sometimes, though, there is no call at all and you have already spent so much time, money and effort.

With the internet, everything has gotten a lot easier, for the employer and the prospective employee. You can apply for a job online with a ready digital resume even while you are in your sleepwear and even in the middle of the night. You can apply to different locations without spending on transportation or fuel. All you need is a computer and internet. Since employers are also posting available jobs, you can see what other jobs are available that you think you can apply for, like, for example, quality coordinator jobs. It may not be in your mind at first because you had no idea it existed but as soon as you saw the job opening, you got the idea that you can apply for it.

For employers, it is also benefitial for them to scan prospective applicants online. It saves them time to receive and entertain them offline. It also avoids unnecessary filled rooms with people-clutter. Once they find the possible employee through the digital resumes, they can then call on those who are likely to be accepted.

Using a desktop computer is still better compared to laptops when it comes to image editing or even blogging. You have a wider screen, a bigger (standard) keyboard so you will not strain your eyes that much and you can rest your hands better on the keys. While there are laptops having standard-sized keyboards, many are small.

At the absence of desktops, though, laptop computers are great for emergencies and mobility. It is also using less of your electricity, thus, having a lower electric bill.

Do you travel every day to and from work and you always have to stand inside the bus or the train because by the time they reach your location they are full? Do you have to go to a bank, a grocery store, a ticket booth where you expect to be at the end of a very long queue? Whatever, you end up standing long when you could have spent your time seated. While standing is good, prolonged standing tends to swollen your veins on your legs.

The next time you see yourself to be doing that in the future, bring something you can sit on like one of the metal step stools or one of those foldable ones with canvas seat. That way, you will not unnecessarily hurt yourself and regret it the rest of your life.

I have a friend who is also a blogger who got robbed this morning. They were asleep, bedroom closed with aircon on when she sort of felt someone else’s feet were also in their house. An intruder (probably more than just one) took several gadgets, mobile phones 2 of their flatscreen TVs.

Had those TVs were hung on the wall with TV mounts, it would make it more difficult for the robbers. They will just leave them behind instead of being caught unscrewing. The key to lessening the chance to get robbed is to make it seem difficult for them to do their job. Like if you are on the street, bring a long umbrella instead of the short one. When a snatcher sees you have something to defend yourself with, you are no longer a target.

Having a baby is probably the most time-consuming. You have the least sleeping hours and the most laborious jobs at home, taking care of everything like housework, cooking and everything little baby needs. The baby is the priority. It seems that 24 hours is not enough. How can you manage?

First, do not make it a habit carrying your baby when putting him or her to sleep. You can both lie down and stay until he or she is asleep. That way, no sudden moves will wake the baby up. Have a baby monitor with display handy so that you can leave the baby behind without worrying about sudden wake ups without you getting by his or her side on time. That way, you can do your other tasks.
