It used to be when you play a PlayStation, you need the games in cartridges which you insert in a provided slot, much like a casette tape inserted in a casette player. As technology progressed, ps3 hard drive is now available to store your games in. It is less of a bulk and it is easier to access the files/games you need.

How far do you think technology can go in terms of storage devices?

I really appreciate that even when I am merely at home, I can still do my “earning” job because it is online. I can work where ever I am as long as I have internet. I do not have to go to a physical office, dress up for work and spend for transportation. My earning may not be big but at least I earn some while doing other things at home.  

I can doze off without the boss scolding me, I can watch tv if I want to, I can be as messy as I can be without others minding except my own family. The best part is, I can do the laundry while working.  Thanks to the internet technology!

My current phone is pitiful. It has clear tape all over, keypad’s letters and numbers barely visible, the joystick works less one way, the backing is lost which makes the battery visible. I had to place it face down when I have to put it down so the battery stays intact. I can’t let go of it because I don’t have any budget to replace it yet.

I’m waiting for the Blackberry that my mom will hand over to me but since it is part of a plan, I still have to wait a year and a half before I can have it. I wish to have the htc incredible s virgin phone but as I said, I got no budget.

I guess I still have to make do with what I have a little more.

It used to be dominated by the boys and the men who seem to have the boy in them. It’s just so wonderful to see the child in them when they play. From a woman’s point of view, it seems to be so childish but when you get to see how entertaining and satisfying to reach a certain goal, everything changes. When you try to learn the moves, it then becomes addicting.

So, what’s your favorite PS3 game?

For the past several weeks, the CCTV has been helpful in identifying robbers and even bikenappers and kidnappers. It seems that the CCTV is the hero of the year for such perpetrators.

An ounce of prevention is better than cure. Many of us know that. Many among those who know will spend beyond means just to be sure of prevention. Others who cannot afford will just wait and cross the bridge when they get there.

If you had no money problems, you’ll probably have a big house…a mansion, perhaps. Along with that mansion comes the magnet of evil intents from robbers, carnappers and kidnappers, thus, a security of some sort is automatically included in the plan.

How would you secure your mansion? Security guard? CCTV? How about home automation systems?

Five or six years ago, I asked a friend while casually talking about different sorts of topics, why gadgets, especially electronic, are short lived. The financial consultant’s answer was, “Planned obsolescence.”

People naturally don’t want to be left behind. When something better comes out in the market, everyone wants that. It used to be ipods only. Now that ipod nano, ipod shuffle and ipod touch were introduced in the market, the oldest is now called ipod classic.

What do you prefer?

I miss my phone cam as it is no longer working well. I need to take pictures but my only cam has bid adieu.

I wish to have a very good, functional, lightweight, digital camera… I want the Nikon D3100. Why? Watch the video…

I need one to take pictures of my products (like the styro cutouts and craft works I do). I need it to take pictures of events and incidents. Oftentimes I see something worth capturing. I just don’t have the means to do so. Of course I’d need it especially when I go for trips especially when I get one of those Branson vacation packages!

With a digital camera, I can record our (each member of my family) lives in pictures… which I hope to be photographs.

How would you like to have a mattress which hugs your body? No, I don’t mean that both sides will curl on you but that when your body’s unique curves touch the foam, it softens while the surrounding area stays to give support. I guess that’s the best thing to lie on when on your stomach (for women, I mean). Rarely do I use that position as my heavy body presses down on my chest!

Having a memory foam mattress would surely be something to want! Nothing’s better than the comfort of a good night’s sleep!

It’s that time of the year again that people, especially corporate, are busy preparing for their year-end or Christmas gifts. I remember when we used to be in the printing business, we have clients ordering calendars starting August. Yes, calendars are used every day but with the handheld calendar in our cellphones, not much need the desktop or wall calendars as they used to be needed.

There is one thing I’d like, though, as a corporate giveaway. I saw this custom usb drives on the net and especially liked the pocketknife version! I’d like to have it! It’s valuable yet cheap!

A human being’s performance depends much on how well he remembers. When people suffer oblivion, you can well be assured that something is missing.

The same with the computer, memory is one of the parts that is given much attention and care, just as much is given to the processor and motherboard.

Take a look at the PC I’m using:

See the protruding wires (white and blue)? That’s the power switch. To power on, I just have to short the wires and the PC will boot up.

The casing is open because we’re trying to give it as much wind from the fan because the processor is almost at its deathbed.

Memory’s not bad but at 1GB, it’s no longer enough. Motherboard has recently been changed when the old one decided to to stop working.

As much as possible we’re trying to maximize the use of each. When funds allow, we’ll have to buy a processor. We’ll buy memory next, then the hard disk, as we need a larger capacity than 80GB.

Good thing hubby knows how to tinker with the machine!
