At the back of my Bible is a list of Key Bible Promises. The first part is God’s. I have read and reread of these before but writing the verses as a list with my own handwriting gives a different feel. Now I’d like to share the list as a series of blog posts.
God’s promise of His love, as listed:
Isaiah 54:10New King James Version (NKJV)
10 For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Jeremiah 31:3-4New King James Version (NKJV)
3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
You shall again be adorned with your tambourines,
And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.
Matthew 10:30-31New King James Version (NKJV)
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
John 3:16New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 15:9New King James Version (NKJV)
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
John 15:13New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
1 John 4:9New King James Version (NKJV)
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
